Louis Vuitton Series 2 + The Blonde Salad: let’s party!

Have you ever seen an exhibition completely by yourself before the doors open for the rest of the world? After last week our answer is yes! Thursday, May 21st some of the editors of The Blonde Salad had the opportunity to be at the exclusive preview of the Louis Vuitton Series 2 exhibition in Rome, which officially inaugurated the day after and will be open until June 7th. An amazing experience shared with our followers on our Instagram profile @theblondesalad, who had the chance of visiting the exhibition room after room with us for a world preview.

The exhibition is a journey through the inspirations for the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2015 collection but also a reinterpretation of the codes of the Maison by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of the brand. The digital revisitation of the Monogram logo is the starting point of the path followed by an immersion in the video-scenography that introduced the show, the backstage of the show to finish in a completely white room where the models-statues wear the accessories of the collection. The journey ends in a hallway with walls covered by stickers that recall the prints from the show; colorful souvenirs for the visitors to take home!

But this was only the beginning of our Roman weekend. Friday, Chiara and the rest of the TBS crew joined us to celebrate the opening party organised in collaboration with Louis Vuitton at Palazzo Ruspoli and at the wonderful Etoile boutique located in San Lorenzo in Lucina square. We visited the exhibition with our guests once again and then danced to the DJ set of Graziano della Nebbia (don’t tell us you missed our videos of the evening on Snapchat!). Here are the pictures of the party…we can’t wait to have another one
