packing light: an easy easter capsule wardrobe

Welcome back? Are you as ready for a few days off as I am?

whether you’re headed out to celebrate Easter or whether you’re just going on a mini break to enjoy the spring weather in a new locale, this capsule wardrobe has you covered.

Option 1: last day at the office => i like this long blazer with jeans and added some heels to balance out of course if your office is conservative you should swap for some non-distressed denim

Option 2: touristing day => spring weather can be deceptive and i’ve often been overzealous in my desire to bring spring clothes and ended up freezing my butt off. i love the combo of a midi skirt with a chunky sweater and some easy flats. if the sneakers are too funky for you, you can try a more toned down ballet flat or boat shoe.

Option 3: sweater, jeans, scarf, sneakers => any questions?

Option 4: i’ll be a godmother on easter. it’s a country service so i don’t need to be terribly fancy, but i want to look nice. this would work for a regular easter service as well though. like i’ve said before, i prefer to be warm but i wanted to add this floral print clutch in order to give it a festive feel.

Option 5: on my last day, i’ll just be driving home, so i’ll recycle this dress and just tie a gingham shirt over it for a fresh and easy look. again, if you’re not a fan of sneakers with a midi length, just bring boat shoes or ballet flats.

last post before the weekend – have a great few days off!
