London clubnight BleeD‘s pedigree could scarcely be stronger: recent guests have included DJ Richard, Laurel Halo, Ben UFO b2b Morphosis, a full evening co-host with Plex, and many more besides. With a name that doubles up as a clearly established stamp of quality, the shift into actively putting out records, as well as facilitating those that do, makes perfect sense. And who better to inaugurate the freshly-minted label than Francophilic brains behind the operation Volte-Face?

“Until The Light Takes Us” is driving techno par excellence. As the track sets about instigating nosebleeds from the off, a greyscale textural wash slowly descends and envelops like a shroud, before being swiftly cast off as the final third barrels down to its grisly conclusion – i.e., another four dominating cuts on a seriously impressive first release. Truly all killer, no filler.
