Synopsis from Goodreads

She fell in love with him in the books – now she has the chance to star opposite him in the film . . .
Paige doesn’t think she’s particularly special, but after getting the starring role in a massive film adaptation of the bestselling Locked trilogy, the rest of the world would disagree. Now she’s thrown into the spotlight, and into a world of gossip, rumour and deceit. The only people who know what she’s going through are her two male co-stars, and they can’t stand the sight of each other. Paige knows it’s a mistake to fall in love on the set of a movie, but days of on-screen romance and intensity start to change her mind. The question is, can she keep what happens behind the scenes a secret when the world is watching her every move?

REVIEW BY ELLA 8:5

Famous in Love is a great engaging book I enjoyed very much. It was fairly long but it certainly didn’t drag on. I loved every word. Famous in Love fitted into my favourite plots ever list, but if you don’t enjoy romantic stories then this book is sadly not your cup of tea. The only thing that put me off was the front cover, it reminded me of child books and fairy tales, and so it definitely doesn’t reflect the content inside. Please don’t judge the book by its cover.

The story follows the life of Paige Townsen. Paige is an aspiring actress, whose dreams come true when she finds herself in a lead role in a movie adaptation of a blockbuster book series. Her life changes overnight, she went from an ordinary frizzy hair teenager working in a small shop. To the most liked, know and dreamed about girl in the world. If her life hadn’t changed enough her two co-stars both steal pieces of her heart. Who will Paige choose to give her whole heart to and when will she tell the world that is watching her every move???

Generally, with this type of genre you usually have the same ending and predictable storyline, but Famous in Love is different, it isn’t predictable with many twists and turns to hold the reader’s attention. The ending shocked me the most and I guarantee it will surprise you to. It may sound cheesy but it isn’t, Rebecca Serle has very cleverly adding some real problems that many teenagers need to solve, which again adds more depth to the plot which then adds to the realism.

My favourite has to me Rainer is a hopeless romantic and is also Paige’s co-host. He is so understanding and caring towards Paige whilst trying to win her heart. He can be an idiot at times but he always made me laugh. I also love the way he appreciates and respects all women, especially Paige, like every gentleman should. Paige is very lucky.

In conclusion Famous in Love is amazing, and as long as you are a hopeless romantic like me be prepare for your heart to melt from the words that have been written, and your mind will be longing for the those many questions to be answered!
