hello new rowan made!

Some of you may have noticed that Rowan Made has been looking a little different as of late (on social media, too!). For the past few months, I’ve been quietly pushing out a few minor updates, but last week, the NEW website went live as well! With Google implementing an updated algorithm that favors responsive website design development, I figured it was the perfect time to get my act together and make Rowan Made mobile friendly. I taught myself how to code over 10 years ago and have done an okay job at keeping up with the times, but learning how to code responsive definitely upped the ante. It took me forever and a day (and a lot of wine) to figure out, but it finally works. Phew. :)

The other big change is Rowan Made’s identity. Well, kind of. I wasn’t ever truly satisfied with the original mark I had created, and have been playing around with alternative ideas for what felt like a whole year. And then, just like that, this simple idea came into play. It reflects the “organized rule breaking” I absolutely in design. Simplicity meets je ne said quoi.

Other changes? New website copy (why do bio’s take forever to write?), a minty blue hue, and a more frequently updated Instagram account. Other than that, I’ve been fortunate to continue working with awesome creative clients that I can’t wait to share with you. One of my favorites right now includes a local food truck (#DreamClient) that’s opening up a retail space in Minneapolis this summer. So excited!! More soon. ;)
