Fall Day To Date

After some weird transitional weather in Dallas, it’s finally starting to feel like fall y’all! PRAISE HANDS EMOJIS! I took these photos in the morning a couple weeks ago, and it was crisp but not cold and basically my favorite weather ever. I had plans with girlfriends at a sassy wine place in Dallas, so I knew I wanted to wear something that fit that ambiance, but I had a bunch of work-related appts during the day so I didn’t want to look tooooo sassy. So I kinda needed to dress for both occasions, and I thought this outfit was perfect! I’m pretty in love with this dress, y’all. Body con dresses can obviously be too revealing or not the best if you’re trying to eat a lot, but this one is incredibly flattering. It’s so versatile for this time of year, too – like maybe even fun for a holiday party with a snazzy jacket?! I toned the dress down with some riding boots (that are easy to wear for hours) and the most comfortable cardigan EVER, but figured I could take the cardi off at night to dress things up a bit.
