There once was a time, a couple of years ago, when I didn’t believe in coats. I know it sounds rather crazy, but I was young and felt like a coat was just way too expensive to spend my money on. I’d rather wear several sweaters over each other – looking back on it now I kind of have to laugh at it myself. These days, my coat collection has grown quite a bit and I’ve certainly learned to appreciate the importance of a good (and warm) investment piece. This two-tone number by Parisian brand Charlise is one of the classy kind without being too stiff that you wouldn’t be able to wear it everyday. I was introduced to this brand during a showroom visit, and was particularly fond of their coat selection (in fact, I’m still dreaming about a baby blue number with a unique cut). Charlise is available in select boutiques in Belgium, but you can check them out online as well.
