Lunch in Antwerp: De Biologische Bakkerij

It’s no secret I love spending my weekend time brunching, lunching or anything that’s related to food and cozy spots to hang out. It’s one of the many reasons I love Antwerp, because there are so many spots to choose from in all areas (and yes, it’s one of my personal missions to try them all). De Biologische Bakkerij quickly earned a spot on my favorites list because of its many perks. This one is located in the Volkstraat, so it’s already surrounded with a dozen other hotspots, cool stores and lovely buildings – major plus! On this particular day (a few months ago), we were still lucky enough to sit outside and enjoy some lovely autumn sun but the interior inside is equally nice. Other than that, there’s a wide variety of choice on the menu and I find the prices to be very okay for this kind of healthy food and the amount you receive on your plate. Personally, I like my avocado toast a little bit more spiced up but was still pretty pleased with the result. Certainly recommended to stop by for a visit (or two!).
