When it gets dark around 4.30 in the afternoon, what choice does a blogger have but to try and shoot in the dark for once? I generally prefer natural light, but this alley caught my attention to shoot anyway – even when the sun was long gone already. You know I’ve been a long-time parka addict (I think we’re at six and counting), so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I’ve been wearing this one every single day since it arrived. Bench is known to be a more functional brand, but it doesn’t forget about the fashion either – and by that it really combines the best of both worlds. It’s warmer than any other coat I own and keeps me protected from all that rain we’ve been experiencing lately, like on the evening of the shoot. I’m personally in love with the faux fur hood and secretly have lion feelings whenever I wear it. Doesn’t get much better than that!
