Bump Smitten DIY Tutorial: Baby Shower Wish Tree
A wish tree is a fun baby shower activity -- especially for the mommy-to-be. You can make a fun book with all the friend's thoughts and wishes PLUS photos from the baby shower. This activity doubles as a wonderfully touching gift that will be treasured for years to come.
Materials Needed:
White Spray Paint
Glitter Spray Paint
Branches
Large Heavy Vase
Small Rocks (I also used white marshmallows)
Clothespins
Wish Cards & a Wish Sign (Download the Sign & Cards pictured in the tutorial)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Lay out a bunch of old newspaper
2. Spray paint your cut tree branches white (or a different color of your choice) on all sides
3. Let dry
4. Once dry, spray paint the white branches with your silver glitter (or a different glitter of your choice)
5. Arrange in your large heavy vase
6. Fill the vase with rocks or marshmallows
7. Set up your wish tree table with a sign, wish cards, a pen and clothespins.
