New Danish Brand Brings Back An Enormous Amount Of Mid-century Furniture

It is not every day a new Danish interior brand sees the light of day, but this one looks very promising, even with the very limited images leaked. Warm Nordic want to build on the great Danish design heritage with timeless, quality designs. By the look of it, I really like that not everything (none really) is light oak tree, but darker types.

The ambitions are high from the very start, launching with more than 100 new pieces of furniture, lamps and accessories, made by names like Arne Hovmand-Olsen, Hans Olsen and Knud Færch. Names you might not have heard much before, but I assure you, you will soon. All renowned names older generations will know, and will be a fresh breath of air in a world where all the Danish mid-century designers we tend to see works from is Jacobsen, Wegner and Mogensen.

The new brand Warm Nordic will launch in March – and apparently they wont tell us more for now even though I really tried to get a real sneak peek. They will show more during Stockholm Furniture Fair next month, so stay tuned, I promise to report back.
