DIY – Easy belt makeover

The belt I used for this project was something I bought on sale. The fluorescent pink was way to bright to my taste, but I loved the rest of the belt. So I thought I could give it an easy makeover. You could use this ‘technique’ for almost every belt, and it makes it instant fab!

What you need for this easy belt makeover

• belt
• scissors
• small piece of ribbon
• hot glue gun
• burning candle

How to give your belt an easy makeover

1. Cut a piece of ribbon big enough to fit around the belt and the thing (I have no idea how this ‘thing’ is called but it’s the pink piece in the pictures) you want to cover.

2. Burn the edges with a candle so they won’t fray.

3. Use your glue gun to add the ribbon to the belt.
