I would like to invite you into my little world :) ------------- Hi. My name is Daphne Mitra and I am Filipina (born and raised in the Philippines), currently living and working in Madrid. I am an English Teacher by profession but I´ve also been a radio show host, events emcee, a Moroccan Restaurant Manager among other many things. I moved to the Spanish capital for love (no regrets in taking the leap to be with B). This blog is about my / our daily life -- ups and downs, travels, cooking adventures, work, friends, lessons learned and changes. It will be dotted with photos taken by myself or B and of course a few borrowed images from my favorite websites. I´ve had other blogs before and I know that it can be a great way to look back on memories. I always thought I had a great memory but I have forgotten as much as I have been able to keep. Apart from this, I think it´s a great way to connect with other people and hopefully meet kindred souls. I´ve also decided to translate my blog into Spanish as I plan on living here longer.
