Unlike Blot or other translucent powders, MAC Prolongwear Powder offers light coverage –I apply mine with this large Chanel powder brush but anything large and fluffy will do. The real need that this powder fulfills is that my skin stays matte all the live-long day. As you can legitimately infer from it’s name, this powder delivers marathon long-distance matte wear, even in the brutal heat that we are experiencing now in Northern California.

I found that powder is nicely milled for a powder in this price range (pow. Using this powder to mattify and add a velvet finish to the skin (or to add over a foundation or other base) is a perfect way to add a velvety cool-looking surface to the skin. Very well done.
