Today I felt like wrapping Felix up and putting him in a white elephant gift exchange. Grr.
It's not HIM that's the issue. When he's not sobbing or refusing to nurse or sleep, he's pretty much the best baby in the world; gorgeous wild eyes, grinning and giggling, and all that other good stuff. It's the terrible tummy issues that are occasionally getting the best of all of us. I took him to a doctor a couple of weeks ago who did nothing to help me, but finally, reluctantly set me up to see a pediatrician. The problem was that he was in Chilliwack, 45 minutes away, and the only appt was set up right before Hudson's preschool time, so I had to cancel. Also, I thought at the time that any minute things would start to get better, but so far they haven't. He remains healthy otherwise, so I'm trying not to be too worried, but still. Grr.
Alright, enough of that. The good stuff: he loves to play! I put him in his little floor chair, and he'll play with the little bowls (ie. toss them out), and spin the mirror to his heart's content. He is also getting a little less angry with tummy time. Officially he hasn't really rolled over yet, unless he's already on a bit of a slant. Sooo not worried.
He's also had the privilege of getting lots of cuddles from family lately! Since mid-November we've had various members of Ty's family come out to visit us, and it has been great! First Ty's parents came, and then recently Amber and Erik (older sister and husband). Erik said one day, "So...you sick of us yet?" and I said, "Not even a little!" and totally meant it :). I'll try to get some pictures up in the future. Really, it was a big high light for all of us, especially the little boys who soaked in all the extra love.

Ok, picture time (haven't been taking too many lately, unfortunately):

Oh, hazel eyes!!

Busting out the double peaces before small group. It wasn't an ugly Christmas sweater party; I barely need an excuse to wear this awesome tee that was made for me when I was 9 or 10!! Sidenote: no one should be allowed to be around me when I'm this overtired. And yes, Hudson is playing a slide whistle behind me.

Exercising with me in the kitchen! He does a better plank than I, let me tell you!

First "snowfall" of the season!
Ok, so in the time it took me to do a few chores, and write this post, Felix just had nearly a 2 hr nap (probably one of the first since his first two weeks of life). I take it all back (you know...the thing about putting him in a gift exchange). :)
