Greateful Dead (2013) (English)

We follow a young woman who was neglected when she was a young girl, so she will do anything with a big smile to get some attention. She isn’t like other women on her own age, she loves to follow lonely and sad people. Inside she is one of them, but she is also dangerous and a little kinky.

Greatful Dead starts out as a comedy, a darker comedy, but after the first half Greatful Dead turns to be more like a dark thriller, but the humor is still present. I really like the crazy protagonist. She is very cute and crazy, I love the scenes when she smiles and is happy. She is so cute and crazy!

But I expected more killings and sick humor. I can say it like this, I loved the rape scene with the old man. That scene was just absurd and crazy to watch. Lucky old man! But after that scene, Greatful Dead doesn’t follow up with scenes that can top what we’ve just seen.

If you like the older and twisted Takashi Miike films, Greatful Dead is worth checking out. It’s a crazy little film with lots of dark humor, but it is a little slow at times, especially with the old man.
