The Plan Man (2014) (English)
We follow a man who must have control in absolute every situation. He falls in love with a girl that has the same problem that he has, but she tries to change because she is not happy. He seeks a therapist, and slowly he begins to live a normal life and he falls in love with another girl that loves music. But both of these persons have ghosts from the past that they have to deal with.
The Plan Man is a charming and warm film. It has its funny moments, and the two leading actors have good chemistry and they are also good in their roles.
I was a little surprised that I like the music that the girl sings. It’s in fact very catchy. It fits the tone and atmosphere that this film have.
Towards the end of the film it’s time for drama and the film focuses on the past of the man who has obsessive–compulsive personality disorder. We get to see what happened in his childhood that made him a little strange growing up. This came as no surprise because this is what South Koreans like in their films. They love to mix genres, and I have seen worse, trust me.
The Plan Man is one of the better romantic comedies I’ve seen in the last couple of years that is made in South Korea. This is a very charming film that has funny moments and a very sweet and pretty girl who melted my heart.
