I have been doing some shopping over the past two months at Sephora, as I mentioned in my
VIB sale haul post. Either I don't get anything, or I end up with more than enough things to try out and write about here.
I use to own the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, but then I found myself dipping my brush exclusively in Suspect over and over again. I passed along the palette and for the next six months I kept suddenly missing Suspect as it is just such an easy everyday colour. So after clearing out more of my makeup collection, I justified the purchase of the single
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Suspect. I'm starting to make a dent in it already.
Then the weather started warming up and I stashed my vampy lipsticks away. I found myself reaching for the same couple of shades over and over again, and wanted to try something new. The first was the
Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Syrah, a nude peach that actually works for my skin tone. The formula is creamy yet long wearing and quite pigmented. I got so excited about getting new lip products that I then picked up the
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Tulip. It is a sheer bright pink that just gives so much life to the complexion. I love how nourishing the formula is and it is so much more pigmented than I had imagined from a tinted lip balm. I think I'm hooked and will need to try more.
