How to decorate your cables with washi tape

Oh dear. Chances are you can’t live without your laptop, phone, tablet and other devices, but can’t stand the amount of cords that end up being all over your home. From iPhone chargers to USB wires and other messy cables… They’re not exactly the most visually appealing. So why not dress those cables up a little?

Today’s post shows you an easy and adorable way (and it’s pink!) to transform your tech cables, that makes them at least a little more tolerable. Get out your pastel, neon glittery or striped paper tapes and get this five-minute-DIY started. On your marks… tape!

What to do?
1. Preferably use washi tape in colors that suit your interior or office style. A bit of pink, orange or gold will instantly brighten your cables (and mood, for that matter). Stick to two or three different colors or patterns.
2. Cut little pieces of tape. About four centimeters will work.
3. Wrap them around your cables without following a specific pattern. Sometimes the tape might overlap, otherwise it’s placed perfectly next to each other. The irregularity gives it character.
4. All done!
