Antwerp is just a short train ride away from Amsterdam and yet they both cities have their own unique charm. This pretty Belgian city is packed with treasures and cosy hotspots and today. As Yara visited Antwerp just yesterday and Belgian intern Angela is practically a local, let CHAPTER FRIDAY guide you through some must-sees in this city which is about more than waffles and haute couture.
TINSEL
Everyone loves TINSEL, no kidding. From besties who meet-up for lunch, to couples on first dates and mummies with their babies. The walls are painted in pastels, pretty furniture reminding you of high school and flowers. In the South side of Antwerp, this is the perfect location to relax after a day of shopping and museum hopping. Have some homemade granola with Normo coffee and a yummy slice of pie for dessert.

If you’re done with interior shopping and outfit hunting, gather your thoughts and regain some energy at the calm and perfect BUCHBAR. This bookshop/coffeehouse isn’t enormous, but the interior is beautifully designed around the small space. This place is worth a praise for their collection of books. Ranging from interior topics to street style, theatre plays and poetry, this place has it all. Also, every notebook addict will probably not be able to leave this place empty handed: there’s a selection of plain white notebooks that are gorgeous in their simplicity.
