Goodbye One: My Big Boy is Two!

I can still remember how badly I desired a son, my womb was literally yearning for a child - a boy specifically. I would pray often for The Lord to bless me with a son and he did! Fast forward and my son, my future great man of God is now 2! I still can't believe it. It has already been almost a month and a half but I am still in awe of how quickly our children grow.

So many expectations come with being 2 years old; speaking in 2-3 word sentences, potty training, better listening skills, and more but for the most part I let my son do his thing. I am enjoying being able to actually enjoy him and watching him grow before my very eyes. Most moms don't get that, some moms don't want that, me I am just eternally thankful to The Lord. It is really all I can truly say because it is the truth, I am just happy to have a son(a healthy one at that) and to be able to love him every single day.

I pray God's protection over him each day and I pray for knowledge and understanding on how to be his mother, I ask for the tools and mindset needed to raise him into the best man he can be.

Right now he loves toy cars, Peppa Pig and bubbles. He still loves to nurse (me not so much) co-sleeping and his tricycle. He has a love hate relationship with his sister Naliya and is learning to speak in both English and Spanish more and more each day. He is super sweet and loving but just as strong willed and stubborn, oh yes and he has become a picky eater too. - t̶e̶r̶r̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ Terrific two's indeed!
