Femme Boulevard: My Most Worn Look for 2014
For the last installment of Femme Boulevard for year 2014, we decided to do something simpler, and something that’s more realistic. We post so many looks on the blog, but what do we really wear most of the time? Personally, I prefer something that takes less than 15 minutes to apply. I usually go for a subtle smokey eye that looks a little undone and carelessly applied, blush and lip product of the day. Depending on the mood, I might sport a nude lip, or a brighter coral, or a vampy berry. I switch out the products from time to time, but the method of application is the same. Here are the products I usually use.
I have been keeping everything simple, first due to morning sickness, then fatigue from pregnancy, then pure laziness, and now that the baby is out, I hardly have time for makeup! Other than using a base to mask any imperfections (and now concealer to hide panda eyes), I keep my blush light and natural. I was using lots of NARS Orgasm, but I like to switch it out for whatever I feel like. For the eyes, I have been skipping eye shadows. I use a grey pencil liner on my upper lash line and a taupe liner on my lower lash line. This is mainly due to my Project MAD but liners only are just so easy to wear. Then, I curl my lashes and apply mascara. I have been enjoying brighter and bolder lip colours just because the rest of the face is so simple. For this post, I’m wearing Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Razzberry. I was crazy about Crushed Plum and still am, actually.
