Sunday Stash Shopping #46 with Bobbi Brown

Today is a Bobbi Brown Sunday. I got to try the new serum foundation and face mist recently and I thought it would be a good idea to show you how they work. I put together a look that I haven’t done in ages – green! I love my green eye shadows and liners but I’ve been doing the effortless neutrals (read browns) that I’ve forgotten how easy it is to work with greens as well. Here are the products I used for today’s look.

For the base, I used the new Intensive Skin Serum Foundation. I prepped my skin with all the skincare necessary before applying this foundation. I also need to use concealer under my eyes (panda alert) and some spot concealing. This foundation gives a light to medium coverage. Initial testing tells me this foundation is quite “moisturizing”, not oily, and I do love the dewy glowy finish. However, I’d need to powder the T-zone so I don’t look TOO glowy. Before I powder, however, I used the pot rouge in Pale Pink on my cheeks. I LOVE Bobbi Brown pot rouges. There’s something about first loves, you know? After setting with powder, I used the Brightening Brick in Pink over the blush very lightly for a slight sheen. I used a fan brush to use this over my eyes too, just for fun

I used Bone (top left) all over my lids as a base before applying Forest (bottom left) on my mobile lids. I blend using Heather (top right) just for that slight contrast, and then used Velvet Plum (bottom middle) on my lower lash line. I filled in my brows using Saddle (bottom right) and lined my eyes using their Kajal in Jade. Finish off with mascara. Bobbi Brown is known for her neutrals, and many believe her eye shadows are really sheer. However, my picks here are awesome (because I picked them personally, ahem!) and they are smooth, pigmented and beautiful.

Lastly, I set my makeup with Bobbi Brown’s face mist before applying my lipstick (Sheer Lip Color) in Nude Beige. The face mist keeps the makeup glowy with no trace of powder and so far, I’m loving it. Here’s the final look.

I hope you like today’s look! Did anything catch your eye?

xoxo Lily
