Summer Hacks with Veet®

Summer is definitely the most fun season us New Yorkers have. I’m talking sandy beaches, pool parties, day drinking, skinny dipping and more. Summer is seriously the best! What’s not the best is facial hair. No matter what the season, there is no reason to strut around with a unibrow or mustache. Ever! I bring this up because a few days ago I was at the park with my boyfriend, wearing a beautiful bright lipstick when he noticed my upper-lip hair. Embarrassed he brought it up, I was not. I was more upset at the thought of everyone else who saw me that morning. Yikes! Quick on my feet, I ran across the street to pick up a bottle of water and hair removal cream by Veet.

Considering this my new Summer Hack, I proceeded to remove my unwanted lip hair in the shade. The entire process took all of 7 minutes, from applying the cream with a tiny spatula, waiting 5 minutes for it to do it’s magic, rinsing off with water, then massaging Veet’s Gentle Finishing Cream at the end. Guess who didn’t look like a man anymore? ME! Another Summer Hack I swear by is cooling down with cucumber and mint water. It’s simple to make at home just by adding sliced cucumber and a few leaves of mint. You can even make it on the go if you’re heading to a summer BBQ.
