Poem in Your Pocket

April is National Poetry Month and April 27th is Poem In Your Pocket Day! Have students decorate a "pocket" and place on your classroom wall. Throughout the month, have students bring in a favorite poem (or one they have written). Place it in the pocket to share with the class.
