DIY Idea: Use bubble gum roll to make cake letters - Cómo usar chicle en rollo pare decorar un pastel

I was planning on doing this DIY since I saw in Signe Sugar´s blog the tutorial how-to: gum paste letter making. But instead of using gum paste I though using a bubble gum roll would be easier and quicker and it really was!.
Tenia planteado hacer este DIY desde hace mucho tiempo que me topé con el tutorial de Signe Sugar en el que explica cómo hacer letras usando pasta de goma, pero en lugar de usar pasta de goma pensé que usar un rollo de chicle sería más fácil y rápido y la verdad si lo fue.

I did this cake for my sister´s Birthday, she is on a diet now and that is why I decided to use this fun phrase "RIP Diet" that I saw in one of the shoes from the new collection from Loly in the Sky: Simona.
Le hice este pastel a mi hermana por su cumpleaños y como se supone que está a dieta se me ocurrió ponerle esta frase "RIP Diet" (que en español sería algo así como QEPD la dieta). La vi por primera vez en uno de los zapatos de la nueva colección de Loly in the Sky, los Simona y me pareció muy divertida.

For the font I used Peacock Script Typeface by Nicole Lahy. I just printed out the phrase and used it as a template to do the letters.
El tipo de letra que usé fue el Peacock Script Typeface by Nicole Lahy, solo imprimí la frase y la use como guía para ir haciendo cada una de las letras.

This idea is very simple but I think it looks great. So now you can decorate with any fun phrase your favorite homemade cake and make it look prettier.
La verdad que esta idea es muy simple pero a mi parecer se ve muy padre. Así que ahora pueden decorar su pastel casero favorito con una frase divertida y hacerlo que se vea más bonito.
