Brazil lashed by heavy rains, leaving at least 32 dead

At least 32 people have died since Sunday in southeastern Brazil as heavy rains have swamped the states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with more rain predicted and mudslides possible, authorities said Thursday.
