This week’s wish list is all about buying pieces that put a smile on your face. So forget those cost-per-wear practicalities for a while and let your heart rule your head (and your wallet). Because, in the wise words of Sheryl Crow, “If it makes you happy it can’t be that bad.”

I, like most self-respecting Pinterest addicts, have an obsession with gold pineapple ornaments, so I’m struggling to resist this John Lewis container. It’s in no way a life essential, but it would bring me so much joy! And the same can be said for REDValentino’s psychedelic pumps – just imagine how great they’d look with skinny jeans and a white shirt and you’ll be coveting them too.
