'twas the weekend before

Our first snow disappeared wayyyy too fast. Which left us with a weekend to do nothing but read books, wash towels, wrap gifts (finally!), watch football, eat way too many peanut m&m's, and take way too many random pictures of bows and pine cones. Really? You still read this blog? Bless you. And as exciting as that all sounds ... one little boy (and one big dog) still begged to go outside every five seconds just to make sure that crazy snow truly did melt away. Next time I'll be shoveling a bunch into our deep freeze for a rainy day.
