Whilst sifting through my stash I discovered a shirt without a collar and a collar without a shirt…so I put ‘em together & created a stylin’ new button down for the dude:
Here’s how to quickly create your own:
Snag a collarless shirt (or cut off the existing neckline) & chop the collar off of a similarly sized button down.
Pin together with right sides facing & raw edges lined up. (If the collar is shorter than the neckline simply fold/gather it a bit in the center of the back)
Stitch together.
Zigzag over the outside seam for extra strength & to prevent fraying.
