5 On Friday

{one}
Zoey turns 3 tomorrow. She's a big girl now, as she reminds me almost daily. She's almost fully potty trained, she's giving up her sippy water bottles, she moved from a crib into a big girl twin bed and she's started calling me Mom instead of Mommy. I die.

{two}
I started cleaning out the master bedroom and bathroom. This includes the closet. I got halfway through and started wondering why I even started the project. I found things in the closet that I didn't even know I owned. Size 4 jeans? Really? That hasn't been possible since 2007. I finished the job yesterday and I feel so much better now.

{three}
Speaking of the master bedroom, I made my own headboard this past weekend. I knew exactly what I wanted but I couldn't find it anywhere...at least not in my price range. So I made my own. It looks fantastic and I can't wait to show the whole room reveal soon.

{four}
My kids are killing us at the dentist lately. First poor Mase had several cavities and needed a baby root canal to the tune of almost $1600 out of pocket. Then Matt took Maia in because she needed to have her spacer removed. She has 2 abcesses in 2 different teeth. But no cavities. How is that even possible? She hasn't complained about any pain at all and seems really surprised when the dentist told her. I promise my kids brush their teeth twice a day and floss and swish with anti-cavity wash. They just inherited my horrible dental genes. Poor things. So now Maia's on antibiotics for 10 days and has to have 2 baby teeth pulled. There goes another $600. Zoey goes in her for her 6 month cleaning in 2 weeks. I'm scared. So is our checking account. I can hear it whimpering.

{five}
Zoey is really missing Mase during the daytime. She's used to having a partner in crime and now she's on her own. She asks me a bazillion times when her brother will be home and heaves a huge sigh every time I tell her he won't be home until later. She's really not into this whole only child thing.
