New Pattern Release ~ Claire Pajama Pattern (The Cottage Home)

Today is my birthday (I’m 33 years old, in case you were wondering) and I thought this would be the perfect day to release my newest pattern, the Claire Pajamas Pattern. I have been working on this pattern for several months getting it just right and I’m so happy to finally have it completed and ready to offer to all of you! I truly hope you love it as much as I do.

I was looking for a classic pajama pattern, specifically a nightgown, to sew for my girls and I noticed that I couldn’t seem to find the style nightgown that I remember wearing as a little girl. So what’s a mom to do? Well, when you design sewing patterns then you just create your own. So that’s how the Claire Pajamas Pattern came to be and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Here is a little more information about Claire:

Pattern Description:

The Claire Pajamas are the quintessential classic sleepwear pattern. The pattern includes several options such as a full-length nightgown with long or short sleeves, as well as a two-piece pajama ensemble, including a top with long or short sleeves paired with pants. This pattern also contains a matching 18″ doll pattern for all design options. And what little girl wouldn’t love to match her doll?

This pattern is for confident beginner sewists and offers many ways to get creative with your design!

Pajama Pattern includes size 6 Month through 10 Years as well as 18″ doll pattern.
Pattern includes PDF pattern pieces and detailed step-by-step instructions with color photographs.
Pattern is available for instant download.

My favorite thing about this pattern is that it looks as appropriate on a 6 month old as it does a 10 year old girl. The pattern has so many options that you can create just the right set of pajamas for your little one. You can leave off the ruffles or use a different trim such as eyelet, rick rack, piping and more. The pattern is best sewn with woven cotton, flannel, seersucker, swiss dot, poplin, voile or lawn. I definitely see coordinating holiday pajamas happening in our home.

And where are my girls, you might ask? Well, I haven’t been able to get sister pictures of them yet, but I assure you that once I do, you will see them here on this blog first. Matilda has been wearing her nightgown non-stop. There’s just something that little girls love about nightgowns.
