Being A Daychanger

We've had a few family emergencies over the past several weeks and I know I've been MIA on the vast inner webs.

Then, last week, I landed in the ER with kidney stones that I've been battling for 6 days now….they seem to be very fond of me and don't want to leave. Have mercy!

As I've been pacing around our home for the past several days with my ice pack and white furry robe in all kinds of pain I've found my eyes fall upon little things here and there in our home that bring beauty, hope, and a smile…..even in the pain.

We were made to seek and be drawn to beauty. To be ministered to by lovely things and times.

Bringing beauty to others whether it be with words, things, or time makes you a daychanger.

A simple word. A simple gift. A little of your time…..can remarkably change someone's day.

We all experience pain. It might be physical, mental, emotional, a great loss, a deep disappointment…..but then we run across a daychanger. We're reminded that there's still beauty and things will get better and a teeny piece of our day is turned around. Changed.
