Face everything and Rise…

Friday is finally here! Won’t you all please join me in joyful merriment?! (insert maniacal laugh)

In my neck of the woods, I’ve been awashed in a sea of blue and green, 12th man banners on literally every flag pole in the city and general sports mayhem, so I, your rebel ‘with’ a cause, decided to ‘rise’ and break out in anti athletic ‘gear’ with my awesome Gearjammer choos from Remarkable Oblivion.

(Like that transition much?!)

They are currently featured at FaMESHed which ends tomorrow and are available in four styles. While I think they’re a great addition to your already burgeoning collection of footwear, always remember to try the demos. The shoes come with a resizer script and fit over Slink High mesh feet, but I found that the mesh feet bled through some parts of the heel. So do play around with that resizer to get a close fit.

The last question, “What’s your definition of success?” resonated with me as I have been going over Cozey with a fine tooth comb, planning, dreaming and even culling here and there.

I feel like last year was the year I overcame the posting with consistency ‘hill’ so to speak, in that I’ve meted out a decent balance between RL and SL.

If you read through the comments on the NWN post, Becky (Canary Beck) talks about the ‘Lone voice period’, where we all wonder if anyone is reading us (yeah that). What helped me was the thought, that at the end of the day, I enjoyed the ‘blogging’ experience and that my time was wisely invested. IS blogging about Second Life an experience?

I think so. And talking about Second Life through blogging has actually helped me become more self aware in a way that no other platforms, gaming, virtual or otherwise has done before. Its really something you’d have to try out for yourself (Second Life that is), to know what the fetch we’re all so stark raving mad about :)
