How about double trouble?

We all have one. That one piece in our closet that saves the day when we don’t know what to wear, that’s so comfy we wish we could live in it 24/7 or is so beautiful it always catches a few compliments on the go. But, what do we do when it’s available in a variety of colors? Do we immediately buy a second pair “just in case” or do we wait to be sure it’s going to become an all time classic? And even then, do we WANT the same piece in a second or even third color or do we rather prefer a new and unique addition to our wardrobe?

All these question went through my head the last couple of weeks. This blue breton top from Esprit was my first buy after the end of my 5 piece challenge and it immediately became a huge favorite in my wardrobe. I even gave myself a limit of wears a month! Well, that never happens! That’s why I could’t resist getting myself the red version too last weekend. Something I never would have done at the start of my 5 piece challenge eight months ago. I’ve learned to invest into timeless favorites that I love 365 days a year. Of course I still have my cravings but it’s nice to know I always have some good classis in the back(?) of my closet.
