Emergency Suit & Tie

As much as I am a huge proponent for modern day dandyism, I haven’t gone out and bought myself a full on suit…ever. From going to school to working at startups, there’s not that much room for the everyday suit in my life. That being said, a gent should always have one in the back of his closet to pull out when need be. Mine happens to be this grey glen plaid option from Express. I’m sure a bunch of #menswear cats will throw side eyes for buying off the rack but I see no problem there if it looks good and there’s some quality there. Run that bad boy straight to a good tailor and BOOM, you poppin. Personally I suggest staying away from black and going with a navy or grey. You can liven them up for a wedding, murder them out for a funeral, or style them however if you just want to stunt.
