essie Chillato

A few days ago I was buying a fancy new hose nozzle at Lowe’s when the cashier could not stop talking about my nail color. While I love talking nail polish with just about anyone it at least confirmed that my obsession with Chillato isn’t totally crazy.

Chillato is from the essie summer 2015 Peach Side Babe collection and is a lovely light chartreuse. I don’t want to call this polish pastel as the color isn’t pale but there is a lot of white in this polish.

The formula is unfortunately a bit tricky. While the pigmentation is good it is streaky. There is no way I could get away with less than three coats.

I have nothing like this in my collection and I adore the color so I’m willing to put up with the formula issues (I’ve even already used it in some nail art!). But if you’re not particularly skilled in doing your nails this polish will prove to be quite difficult.
