Nail Art: Pink Polka Dot Manicure

A couple of months ago I was in Old Navy stocking up on tank tops. As I was heading to the register I saw the cutest navy dress with white polka dots and it came home with me. Even though it was a total impulse purchase the dress has turned out to be a great, easy addition to my wardrobe.

One day I was wearing that dress and decided I wanted to do a coordinating manicure. Because I was already wearing polka dots I didn’t want to do a full blown polka dot manicure and I did want to add a bit of color. So I decided to use deborah lippmann Break 4 Love as my main color and use essie Style Cartel as an accent.

To make the pink polka dots pop against the navy base I first put down white polka dots (with Ulta Snow White) then topped those with the pink polka dots.

I really love the way this manicure turned out. Pink and navy look so lovely together and I like how it worked with my outfit (but clearly I really love polka dots).
