Vitamins To keep You At Your Best

Taking vitamins is part of my everyday ritual to keep me and my cranky immune system in tip top shape. Plus living in Ireland with it mostly wet, grey and cold weather, it very easy to catch cold or a flu so vitamins is a good way to prevent getting sick. In addition to this my course has a 90 % attendance rate if I wish to get into year 2, so getting sick is out of the question. I also take them to aid with my muscles and bones. I get really bad leg cramps and muscle pain but I found taken certain vitamins has helped with this. They are also great for period cramps. Taking Vitamin B and FeverFew has reduced the pain significantly. Sometimes the pain would be so bad I wouldn’t be able to leave the house.

I get all my vitamins from Holland and Barrett. They’re good value especially if you buy them when they have their one cent sale. (Buy one Get another for one scent). I also like their essential oils and snacks.

Anyhow here is the vitamins I take and why… I tend to take them in the morning after breakfast and after dinner in the evening. Taking them on there own could be a little hard on the tummy so I try to always take them with a meal!!

Calcium Magnesium with Vitamin D3: as it contributes to keeping healthy bones and helps with muscle function. I find these vitamin really helps to stop or at least prolong the episodes of leg cramps.

Omega 3 fish oil which helps with the function of the heart, helps maintain a healthy brain and vision. You can drink fish oil but it’s gross and much easier to take in capsule form.

Vitamin B Complex and Vitamin C. The B complex helps your metabolism and helps reduce fatigue and tiredness. The vitamin c helps with the immune system.

Vitamin C and Rose Hips, which helps support the immune system.

Feverfew – Helpful for keeping migraines but once I tried it and I noticed a reduction in period cramps.
