Of A Feather

It’s funny how pivotal life events such as a wedding ceremony can help slow life down and magnify what is truly the most important.

This weekend I hopped down to Texas to stand by my cousin, Kerry, as her matron of honor as she was married. And while I do not take my family for granted, and always 100% appreciate any time I have with them, I am always surprised by the incredible amount of fun we have together. There’s something so sweet about the safety of being able to fully let your hair down with the people who truly love you no matter what. It doesn’t matter what shoes you wear, what words you misspell or how many times you repeat the same stories . . . love is love and this weekend there was nothing but love going around.
