Damsel Digest: West Palm Beach

When the team from Lilly Pulitzer invited me to explore West Palm Beach last week I jumped {leaped} at the offer!

Not only had I never been to that part of Florida before, but what better brand to experience the area with than a beautiful clothing line that is the epitome of the area. It’s bright, colorful, fun & energizing. I was also traveling in the wonderful company of editors from Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour & The Glitter Guide who all ended up being just as fun as they are stylish. Between attending my very first polo match, to a bike ride around town and then ending the trip with a boat cruise – I am still smiling from ear to ear at the wonderful memories that we made.

Stay:

The Brazilian Court Hotel // I absolutely loved this adorable hotel because it was walking distance to cute shops {and my new favorite vintage store}, yummy restaurants and the beach! The service was spot on & I fell in love with the cozy lounge chairs throughout the property. While I was there I had a free moment to hit up the spa & it did not disappoint either!

Shop:

Lilly Pulitzer // It all began with a juice stand and a simple shift dress that showcased a colorful print intended to hide fruit juice stains while looking fabulous. The dress became such an instant hit, Lilly stopped selling juice and started selling dresses. The Lilly Pulitzer store at The Breakers is an adorable oasis that offers a sweet experience that stays true to the brands upbeat and colorful attitude.

Worth Avenue // Just a few blocks from The Brazilian Court Hotel you will find a street filled with shop favorites that range from Hermés to Intermix. Definitely worth a walk.

Balatro Vintage // I finally found my favorite vintage store. I never {repeat: never} find anything at vintage shops and when I visited this particular store {home to Pucci, Chanel, Hermés and Lilly Pulitzer finds} I scored a vintage Hermés dress!

See:

Bike Ride // This was hands down my favorite way to explore Palm Beach. We cruised along the manicured South Ocean Blvd for a glimpse at the mansions of Palm Beach. Warning: you’ll be tempted to peek behind the hedges. Lake Trail and Royal Palm Way are scenic rides, too. Don’t forget to pedal past the Flagler Museum aka Whitehall built by Henry Flagler, the founder of Palm Beach.

Polo // Ponies, picnics and parties – yes, please. From January to April, it’s officially Polo Season at the Palm Beach International Polo Club. Make sure to join in on the brunch and match festivities on Sundays and visit the club’s Mallet Grille for the official After Party.

The Brazilian Court Hotel // A boutique luxury hotel right off Worth Avenue…. think apartment styled rooms with hotel services. Although you won’t want to leave your room, make sure to lounge at the newly renovated pool. Café Boulud is also a MUST for dinner. This isn’t the spot to skip dessert… we recommend the creme brulee. Don’t you know the rule? Calories don’t count on vacation.

Thank you again to the Lilly Pulitzer team for such an incredible experience.
