Birds Everywhere | Scrapbooking Layout | Dear Lizzy “5th & Frolic” by American Crafts | Announcement NSD

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you had a couple of fabulous days so far. The weather here has been really lovely and the sun was out all the time. Aren’t we blessed?

I remember a day in February, when it was sunny as well and we had a break from the rain – bliss! Mr Evans and I went to Christchurch to see the Priory; afterwards we went for a short stroll along the flooded bank – it not only was flooded with water, but also with all kind of birds and a lot of people!

I challenged myself by using a patterned paper as a base with an actual design element in the bottom right corner. How do YOU use these kind of pages? Personally I like to use them only cut up, but I tried it differently this time, left it like it was and built the page around it. In the end it worked well and I might try it again next time, now that I know I can do it!

All papers and stickers are Dear Lizzy “5th & Frolic” by American Crafts.

That’s done with the layout, now there is an exciting announcement I have to make!

As many of you probably know, the first Saturday in May is the US’ National Scrapbooking Day and we are celebrating it our own way (and making it INTERnational) with an Online-Crop: On the 2nd of May 2015 there is going to be a day long event with the girls from Happy Scrappy Friends. Safe the date!
As I once was a guest designer on their monthly Challenges, they kindly invited me (and other guests) to join in. How could I have declined this great opportunity to share my creativity?

So, how does it work? From 9am to 9pm (BST) there are going to be hourly challenges and ideas and of course you are invited to join in with the fun at any time! As it is in the name – we are inspiring you to scrap with us, get creative and if you got a German postal address you might even be lucky to win a prize, when you share your results with us. Therefore you have to join in with our Facebook group – German would be an advantage of course. Maybe you want to freshen up your GCSE knowledge? (I will be there just in case!)

Here’s a little sneak of my project I prepared for my challenge.

Be brave! Hope to see you there!
