Church Ope Cove

A huge thank you goes out to my readers, especially all those scrappers, who missed me dearly and sent me encouraging comments on my layout “Beach Favourites”! Wow! You are amazing! I missed you too!

Tracing back my steps a few months, I was a member of The Studio Challenges. Every fortnight those talented ladies inspire the scrapping world with their designs. So today my layout is inspired by their latest challenge – a mood board! Thanks ladies for your inspiration, you as always did a great job!

I decided to go for the overall theme – I chose a picture of the coastline on the Isle of Portland: Church Ope Cove. On the photo you can see me and my friend Katja from Germany, who visited in May with her husband Joerg (who took the panorama shot and therefore cannot be seen!).
I have been on Portland several times and still love hiking around the island. It is a great place to spend a day outdoors. I am so lucky to live near the coast!

I started my layout with placing the photo first – and somehow I ended up with a lot of strips of paper, but still I got the embellishments all over the place!

(Supplies: October Afternoon – Woodland Park)

And what’s in store next time?! I haven’t got a clue yet! Any suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks for stopping by again – have a great week!
