Fitness at Home with a Beautiful Yoga Mat

Although I go to the gym regularly, I like to also include exercises and stretching at home as part of my routine as well. Something was missing, though – the perfect yoga mat. I’m just a beginner in yoga, but it is amazing. It has increased my flexibility, improved my posture, and helps me relax, too! Having a hard floor, a good yoga mat is definitely important!

The Aurorae Impression Yoga Impression Mat is a generous size. I am 5’7″ and often have problems with yoga mats not being long enough. There is nothing worse than being focused and moving through a yoga sequence to suddenly end up with my feet, hands, or head on the hard floor and not my mat! I haven’t had that problem at all with this mat. It is 72″ long, which seems to be a great length for my height. At 24″ wide, it is also a great width. I finally feel I can do my yoga, stretching, and other exercises without worrying about constantly readjusting my position just to be sure I will stay on the mat.

One of my biggest concerns is the support of the mat. Having a chronic pain condition, I need all the support I can get! Having a hard floor means I need a mat that has some cushion. I have found the Yoga Impression Mat has just the right amount of support. It’s supportive enough that I don’t feel the pressure of the hard floor on my joints or bones. My spine and tailbone are often a concern when I’m doing core work, and I haven’t had any pain or bruising on the pressure points since using this mat.

This mat also isn’t so thick that it is hard to keep proper footing, which is something I’ve also experienced. I thought a thick, fluffy mat would be good, but I found I couldn’t keep good balance! This yoga mat is a great balance of support and still being thin enough to not hinder balance. It is made from PER Polymer Environmental Resin. The PER is an eco-friendly patented material. The Eco PER mat is made from a new non toxic resin which is free of rubber and latex, odor free and does not emit any toxic chemicals or gases.

I love the unique design of this mat. It is simple, but unique – just what I love. I actually find with this particular design being on one end of the mat offers a nice focal point.
