Kylie's International Blog & Highlight Project!
Oh we are going to have some FUN today! I am joining in on Kylie's International Blog & Highlight Project and so can you if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. The theme is simply "Thank you" and you as a reader can vote on your favorite card. Head on over to Kylie's blog and get your votes in!
So because this event is going global, I need to tell you that I am from Hodgdon Maine, USA. (pronounced like the word "hodge" and add dun on the end). I know, it's a hard one as most people pronounce it incorrectly. I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 7 years now!
We all have that someone special that we should thank in our lives. My card is going to go postal this week to my friend Rita. Rita and I were besties in high school and life happened after we graduated. We reconnected about 10 years ago. Although we are almost 2 hours away from each other, we meet several times a year to catch up on life, our children, our grandkids and everything else in-between. I am sending this card to tell her thanks for being the person she is!
So I had a little bit of creativity going on with the coordinating Botanical Gardens Designer Paper and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. Love our coordinating products!
The framelits cut such beautiful flowers don't they? I have several layers added to the Pool Party flowers and snuck in two layers of leaves under the flowers. Colors used are Cajun Craze, Pool Party, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White. The card base is Hello Honey.
To finish off my card I added the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink using the Another Thank You stamp set and a little bit of bling in the center of each flower using the It's My Party Enamel Dots. Here is a listing of Stampin' Up! supplies I used on today's card:
