BACK TO THE CLASSICS

It’s been four years since I graduated from college and yet I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of that back-to-school mentality. September always feels like a bit of a clean slate, a chance to buckle down after a few months of summer fun, and a reason to reinvest in wardrobe staples that will carry me through the next two seasons. Today’s outfit features items I have worn or will wear dozens of times in my daily life and on the blog: the perfect striped button-down (fitted, but not clingy), my favorite clutch, my go-to skinny jeans, and a great pair of pointed toe flats. I topped it off with a new tortoiseshell necklace that was a little outside my comfort zone (um, the word “choker” isn’t really in my lexicon) but that I love in person.
