Feeling nostalgic, but thankful.
This will be my first Thanksgiving (and ultimately winter holiday season) away from home, which is putting me in a nostalgic mood. It’s making me remember past holidays with my family—my crazy, loud, nosy, pushy, hilarious family. This year, Thanksgiving will be a little different. It’ll still be full of laughs, but with friends (and my little sister!) instead, and I can’t wait! I’m so thankful for having friends here in our new home and for having the support of our families. We have been truly lucky this past year and feel so grateful to have our friends and family in our lives. And thank goodness for Skype (and Google Hangouts)!
