Once A Month

I hope this finds you well and enjoying your summer. I'm enjoying air conditioning and a fading, barely visible tan line because I'm too anti-humidity to head over to the pool and remedy the latter. Anyway, I don't know about you, but for a few days a month, I want my clothes to be as unconstricting (I think I just made up a word) and shapeless as possible - not coincidentally, this is when you'll usually see me at my most hippie or most homeless, because muumuus, caftans, and the like seem awfully appealing...

This is the second time I've worn this top and dress together, and it's almost as comfortable as pajamas, almost, but more importantly, it's so loose and forgiving. Binge cheesburgering? This can handle it. Lady Bloat? Not a problem.

Also, this handsome turkey was treating himself to bugs in my front yard the other day, and because he didn't seem to mind me watching (whereas they usually flee), I thought I'd snap a few pictures of him. The downside to living in the country is the distance - FROM EVERYTHING. But the upside to living in the country is all the beautiful wildlife that calls your yard home, or at least, the kitchen.
