Hey, y’all! We are LIVE from the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival!
So much COLOR!
We’ve spent the day looking at all the beautiful gardens and topiaries of the festival, but we’ve also spent the day trying out ALL THE FOODS at the festival booths. Because, hey, someone’s got to do it, right?
So we headed over to a completely NEW booth called Festival Favorites at World Showplace.
While this is a new booth to the Flower and Garden Festival, all of the menu items are actually returning favorites from previous festivals. Hence, Festival Favorites!
Festival Favorites Menu
We started with the Watermelon Salad with Pickled Onions, Feta, and Balsamic Reduction which costs $4.25. For the record, it’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen this one — at least a few years. But, we were reminded why we are SO happy it has made its way back to the festival! The sweetness from the watermelon mixed with the bitter arugula and acidic pickles and glaze is just stellar.

So then it was time to get in touch with our inner carnivore with the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider with Garlic Sausage, Chorizo, Cheddar Fondue, and House-made Pickle for $7.50. This is a new take on the super-delish Beef Brisket Burnt Ends we tried a few years ago and it. is. amazing. There’s a nice crunch from the pickle to pair with the meat and it is DOUSED in cheese!

Let’s Southern things up a bit with the Fried Green Tomatoes with Blue Crab-Fennel Salad, Remoulade, and Smoked Paprika Oil for $6.25. We really liked this dish last year and thought it was a delicious salty snack! We also felt the texture and flavor of the crab meat perfectly complemented the crunchy tomatoes. We just wish they would add some more sauce to this dish! If you’re not a fan of seafood, this might be one to skip because it is a BIG serving of crab.

Time for dessert and the festival favorite here is the Key Lime Tart with Toasted Meringue. This is another one we haven’t seen in a few years so we were excited to give it a try. If you’re a fan of key lime then this one is a winner! The flavors aren’t overly amazing or unique in any way — it’s really just one solid tart.

You can grab this tasty tart for $4.75.
Now onto the drinks! If you’re looking for something refreshing, the Frozen Lemonade is BACK for $3.50. The last time we tried this was back in 2019! Add a twist to your drink and get the Frozen Lemonade with Firefly Blackberry Moonshine for $11.75.

The beer on the menu is the 3 Daughters Brewing Maple Bacon Stout and it comes in two sizes. Grab a 6oz for $4.50 or a 12oz for $8.50. You can definitely taste the maple in every sip, though we didn’t taste much bacon. This beer is pretty dark (maybe even a little too dark for us) so we’d recommend fans of dark beers give it a try!

All in all, we’d say that these items are in the Festival Favorites for a reason! And, with all the returning foods and drinks this one was a win for us. It’s worth a stop if you’re looking for a wide variety of options as welll. Now, onto the next booth!
Have you ever tried any of these “favorites?” Let us know in the comments!
