Fido’s Freebie Friday Has a Change of Plans

Well, this week didn’t quite wind up as planned…

We planned to head to the beach with Irie and Tiki on a quick one-night trip but, unfortunately, a family emergency with one of John’s elderly relatives meant a change of plans. A day spent at the hospital three hours from here meant rescheduling our trip.

While we were worried and disappointed, Irie and Tiki were just as happy as they are every other day. They live in the present — and the present meant that we were all home and all together. They weren’t concerned about our future plans and concerns. Today was good.
